Crown Imperial School ensure all staff are fully equiped with the knowledge, understanding, skills and tools to fully support every child. This means staff have to undertake mandatory training throughout the year to keep up-to-date with the latest legislation, regulations, guidance and standards to be able to provide the support when needed.

Crown Imperial School will operate as per guidelines set out by the UK Government, Department for Education & Ofsted. Our school will continue to meet mandatory requirements to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Parents & children will be updated via school newsletters & COVID-19 Update emails.

SAFEGUARDING

We want all children and staff to feel and be safe at all times therefore safeguarding practices have been embedded into daily working life at the Crown Imperial School. All our staff have been trained in safeguarding so that we can protect all the children that attend our school as well as staff.

ONLINE SAFETY

Every child will receive lessons on the many risks associated with internet usage as part of making sure all children know how to keep safe online in school, at home and anywhere else they go. Children and parents/guardians will have access to the same online safety lessons when they log in to their school accounts at the login page.

PASTORAL CARE

Our aim is to make sure children are safe, comfortable & confident so that they feel happy when they are learning. Our staff have been trained to provide the pastoral support, we work with the child, parent/guardian & external support organisations to ensure the well being of every child.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

We tackle the challenges faced by young children in Britain & focus on the practical solutions as well as tried and tested strategies. We transform the moral, spiritual, physical, intellectual & social development of children using ground breaking programmes, experiental learning and social action projects.
